Summer Week 5

Day 31. I almost miss the choir practice today because I overslept.

 Day 32. Golden hour at home.

Day 33. D.I.Y. Dream catcher

Day 34. On our way home, this coin caught my eyes which is strayed on the main road. So, I rushed to the main road just to get this penny. Haha :)

Day 35. I thought being attached to a kid is a cute thing. But I was wrong! This little girl keeps following then hug me wherever I go at their class today. It is hard to move with a kid hugging you, you know.

Day 36. My first engagement session. Hope to get some customers in the future!

Day 37. Not feeling well today so I'm stuck with this.

thursday schooling

I never dreamed of being a teacher when I was a kid. Yes, it feels good that when you're a teacher, you will be remembered and loved by your students. It is nice to see kids, especially if they (let's admit it) were cute and just-you're-type of kid. But on my point of view, I hate being one(teacher, i mean), because of what I've experienced on my class. I thought teaching would a lot of fun and would be easy because they are kids, and kids can easily understand, obey and just behave. And for that, I was wrong. Because kids will be kids, you know, they can be monsters sometimes, and on that situations I should stay patient. Teaching gets fun when kids are listening to you, do what is being said, are able to answer the questions, know that they learned from you and the best part is, hearing weird things from them and learning from them.

Summer Week 4

Day 24. 24th post, 24 is my birthday and 24 is my audition number. Is it a lucky sign? I hope so. My fingers are crossed for the results...I wish I am one of the lucky participants!

Day 25. We made a little space of learning in an empty building.

Day 26. Ending my long day with a cup of tea.

Day 27. Liking some portrait tees. I want some more!

Day 28. My life is getting busier right now!

Day 29. At school, I taught the kids how to draw a circle, and this is how their circles looks like! I never thought that teaching would be very tiring yet so fun!

Day 30. Socializing day.

This can't be!!!!! I posted the 4th week of summer and I'm not going to any beach yet, even the nearest one :(

Hi!

Yesterday is the audition day for the pre-centennial celebration of our church(Church of Christ) and this is what I wore yesterday at the event. I auditioned for hosting, and in my whole life, it was my first attempt to audition for something, because I was known for being the one who always watch and dream and ended up on sitting around. So yesterday, I gather all my strength to face the judges and make a little speech in front...and the rest will be a long story for me to tell here. 

As you can see, there are two set of photos because I can't choose which is better. The color of the skirt is what I love the most here, I named the color as "wine red". Actually I like the color very much that I own three bottoms in this color(see it here and here).

Summer Week 3

Day 17. I spent the day at the church. The sun is setting and I was still there.

Day 18. Sunrise view outside the hospital. Finally, it was our last day there. I hope everything will go back to normal quickly.

Day 19. “The beauty of the natural world lies in the details” by Natalie Angier. I took pictures of my cousins this afternoon while they were watering the front yard.

Day 20. Some people think I am a weird person, which I think is awesome.

 Day 21. I went back to uni today to view my grades then felt upset afterwards.

Day 22. New sunglasses.

Day 23. Our house turned to be a playground today as my little cousins invade our peaceful home. My sister taught our techie little cousins to play old games like "piko" and watched movies afterwards.

Meeting hate

Yesterday I went back to uni to view my grades and I really felt upset about it! I felt like I was cheated because I do make good grades for the subject that I am upset about. I was thinking that my professor was happily guessed my grade, which made me not to be on the Dean's List. I hate this feeling, hating other people I mean, but they made me want to meet hate.

On the other news, I purchased this dress last summer when I was still taking summer classes. It's a very comfy dress from Tomato and the prints are just so summer-ish that every time I wear this, people start greeting me "Uy, summer na summer ka na ah!".

Something is glowing

Hello! 

It is SO HOT in our country right now. Temperature is hitting 40 degrees and the heat can be  totally unbearable! It's a nightmare I can say because staying outside is a risky thing to do. I think almost everywhere and everyone are talking about this dangerous heat(as it may cause heat stroke, sunburn, etc.). As a trying-to-be-a-healthy person here I would like tell that...to combat our opponent weather, make sure to put SPF on our skin, take 8 glasses of water or more a day and of course, as long as you can, do stay on a cooler place. I hope my little advice help us remember what to do with this super hot summer season.

Summer Week 2

Day 10. Glad to use my hat again. Last time I used it was 5 years ago because I'm too shy to go out with this kind of hat.

Day 12. I'm a health conscious person that sometimes I prefer to eat raw foods because its more healthy to eat.

Day 11. Our pretty naughty dog

 Day 13. I taught Joanna how to make dream catcher. After she made her dream catcher she said that she have a massive headache because of the twist and turns!

 Day 14. I guess summer is all about food! Tonight we had dinner at home with the minister.

Day 15. Say 'happy birthday' to our Kuya Coloy!

Day 16. Weird fact: I can easily sleep with my eyeglasses on.

Enjoy the little things.

Today I woke up at 9am and found this Chocolate Ensaymada alone on our kitchen table. It was my breakfast and it taste really good!

I am so glad that I didn't wear this leggings today! It was so hot that even I am staying on the air conditioned room at the hospital I still can feel the heat!

I am not a fan of polished nails but I give it a try today. I think I should apply it more often because my friends and relatives says that it looks good on me. When I have some nail polish applied on my nails I can't stop looking at them, is it just natural for girls or is it just me? Haha

Tonight, after our church activity we headed to Kuya Coloy's house to celebrate his birthday!
