Blue skies and nature's green

I forgot to share you these photos from summer, so let me share now. My family is not a fan of fancy hotels and resorts, because we don't see ourselves like the people in those place. Early every summer, our family with our workers and some of our relatives always went to the beach, which is so called Laiya. It is a nice beach but a long drive, it has white sand, clear water and hospitable people around. But this year is different, we don't make the early summer tradition because our nona got sick and gone.
The summer is almost into its end but mama let her family see the sea before school starts. With our little pick-up car we drove to Batangas and I brought my camera with me so I can capture the beautiful Laiya. But in my disappointment, we went to mama's customer house, which is near the beach, for a visit and ma told me that we will stay there and we will not go to Laiya anymore. Honestly, I don't like the place. They don't have nice cottages and the seashore is full of plastics and weeds! However, I got bored and I don't want to disappoint my parents too so I went to the seashore and did a clean up, took photos and grilled bananas. Hindi naman na ako masyadong disappointed ngayon :)

Our cottage

It's actually not a resort, because fishing is the first source of income of the people there so they don't mind the trashes.

This caught my eye, we sell furnitures and I guess this will be a nice chair.

She has grown a lot

It has been a week since my last post, it is because my laptop doesn't have a wi fi connection and when I use broadband, it doesn't work well. The rainy season goes along too, as well as our feasibility study that we're trying to do at school. I'm a senior, it is my last year of schooling so I'm doing my best to make this feasibility study work out! I'm not so good in academics but maybe my luck is just behind me. Oh, I wish our study will be a good one. It requires a lot of effort, time, research and sleepless nights. On the other side, the photos that you will see are the photos for the 7th birthday of my cousin, Baby Jean. Click here for BJ 6th birthday photos :)

Dead colors

This is what I wore on my first Saturday class this semester. It was a long day, I attended two classes which lasted for 5 hours, run to the nearest photo studio to print my photo for the school camera organization, had been late on meetings and go-out with my friends. *sigh* Then, I got tired.

Aside from getting some food,  I was trying not to buy anything when we went out but not until when I saw this book.

Eat fruits for a better health

FYI: This is a repost from AnneorShine Blog. I think it's better to spread the word, especially something like this, something about health. So I wish everyone will take time to read because I learned from this post that you can prevent getting cancer or heart attack just from eating some fruits. So here it goes...

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Greying hair
baldingnervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI:
Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY:
Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE :
Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON:
Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA:
Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer!
Can you believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should know that not everyheart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

Candy Crush

Oh, I think a lot of people can relate to the topic huh? Well, I just made it because my leggings is so colorful today, actually those were gems not candies. Today is the Independence Day here in Philippines which means its a holiday therefore there were no classes. So me and my sister went to the mall and stroll around until our legs get tired!

End of Summer Week 12

The 12 weeks of summer had just ended and it was a good break. I am sorry that I upload this photos a bit late than I used to upload the others. I love the photos from last week. I guess  last week had the most interesting photos within my "Days of Summer" project. I feel great right now that I'm blogging this! I can't believe that I finished my self-proclaimed project! Because all I can finish before was the projects announced by my professors which is actually not a fun thing to do, because it requires a lot of research and mind-blowing thingy. But now that I finish mine, I don't know what is the exact word to express my feelings. Maybe I can say that I feel different, I mean, I feel awesome!

Day 73. Did a shoot for my cousin's 7th birthday on July.

Day 74. Be fit!

Day 75. I'm left at home cleaning, cooking and reading this old book with that odd smell which made the book a bit enchanting.

Day 76. Brush your teeth before bedtime fellas! Today, I found this crazy me on my laptop.

Day 77. I hate it when our dog dig a hole in our garden, that what happened today.

Day 78. Got the chance to see the sea before summer ends.

Day 79. I collected these seashells when I was eleven along the seashore. And my favorite is the one in the middle.

Day 80. Today is the last day of summer, went back to the city, ate huge burger until the rain poured tonight.

Those still moments

These still moments were taken after two consecutive shoots with my friends. Shooting is really fun but I get tired too, from the heat maybe. My friend told me to publish these photos, me looking very exhausted! I hate the fact that i'm an acidic person which made my blood pressure go low and makes me so conscious and worry about myself. Do you know anything to eat or do to make my blood pressure normal? Would love to hear from you.

Plain collar tip

Hello!
Now I'm going to post a little thing for fashion. Studded tops made a huge fashion statement last year, and even up until now. I don't usually buy new clothes because that is what the society is wearing nowadays. I only buy clothes when I really need a new one or there is an occasion that needs an appropriate clothes which I don't have. I'm trying my best to save money for a big something for myself. So renewing my clothes are the best thing to do to not to buy new ones! I found this nice collar tip on the blog of Evamaria (check her blog!) which really helped me a lot to cope with the society's fad of fashion last year. Just sew some beads on the tip of your collar and hooray! New look for your plain collar blouses!

Treasure from my laptop

I've been miles away from my blog since the first week of May as I have always been a little bit busy helping my parents on our business and been involved in many church activities. I miss writing on my blog about my life, though I've been boringly updating my blog with my days of summer project, this blog serves as my diary as I don't own a diary notebook.

Anyways, tomorrow I will hand my laptop to a programmer to reformat it. I got tons of raw photos on my laptop so I decided to scan for good photos and blog them and delete all the raw! Here are some of the best photos I found, these are all treasure for me because I remember the exact things I did when I shoot all these.

I was in the dormitory when a storm came over. I was trying to take a photo of that long drops of rain but sadly I failed, it looks like snow on the first look.

Pam is a mutual friend of me and JR. She saw my works on Facebook and she says all the good things about my work which I totally adore. We started our little conversations on Facebook. She asks me things about photography and so on. We became friends on this big website and decided to meet-up on UP to do a photo shoot--I was the model and she's the photographer. I remember how she loves to capture the little still things, like rusty padlocks. Now, she's doing portraits and she really has a nice editing talent. A little photo of her right here. Pam always does this pose on our first shoot.

I find this photo funny and realistic too! Remember your high school days, when you chose to walk the long way just to pass by the room of your crush, so maybe, he/she will recognize you and with your hopes up, he/she will like you back.

I love how my prime lens made a wide angle-like photo.

See that house? That was the house of mama when they were young.

Just a little treasure. It was so seldom that I will see a photo of me doing my daily routine.

A blurry photo can be a nice photo too!

I was walking with Kuya Alan when I took this photo. Those houses are the ones beside the dirty stinking river.

Last year I spent my summer in summer classes. After classes or no-class day I go out alone or with companion wandering or trying foods that are new for my taste buds.

When It's too hot outside, I stay at the dormitory reading a lot of novels. I've read 10 good stories last summer.

An explosion of soil. Kika dig a hole in our garden.

A day before my 18th birthday I received my battery grip from my wealthy friend. Haha :)

Doing some street photos on one of my shoots.

I love the place where Vivien took me after our afternoon shoot. I love art. I love that people see art in different ways, even if it's dirty or something that you just can't understand and describe. For me, art is expressing what you feel on your own special ways and point of view. And I just love how people combine good food and cool art. Isn't just so awesome? I love their graffiti! Anyways, it's the Four Fingers at SM North Edsa. It's a fast food chain like Bonchon.

Cool cups!

I never try and I am willing to try to ride a Ferris wheel.

Precious and I had a hard time choosing a place to eat. We love to try something new so we enter a Japanese resto. We really get excited to eat something new but something new doesn't always taste great. We wasted money. We agreed that street foods are better than Japanese's and decided to never ever go back to that resto again!

Just showing some love of nature.
